Therapeutic exercise is such an important aspect in the physiotherapy field as it has consistently scientifically proved the physiological and mental health benefits it has for its users. Some of these health benefits are restoring the body from injury, restoring and maintaining functional and normal movement patterns, improving strength, flexibility, and range of movement, maintaining and improving physical performance and overall body function. Some of the non-physical benefits of exercise include a reduction in stress, and anxiety, improvement in mood and quality of sleep.
Our Movement and Therapy Studio is equipped with a Wattbike, weights, balance boards, resistance bands, steps, medicine balls, a jump box, foam rollers, a squat rack, all of which contribute to a complete physiotherapy rehabilitation session. Our aim with this space is not only to improve our patient’s physical and mental well-being, but to help them understand the importance of exercise in their daily life for overall wellness, reaching their desired goals and most importantly, preventing any risk of injuries.
