Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation is a skilled intervention used in physiotherapy which effectively breaks down fascial restrictions and scar tissue by various direct compressive stroke techniques using specialised tools. Our clinic uses ERGON technique and 3 unique stainless steel ERGON tools which improve the therapists’ diagnostic abilities by allowing us to assess the area and feel what our hands can’t feel. Using this adjunct in our treatments will positively contribute to a patient’s recovery as it will restore elasticity of soft tissues, reduce pain and muscle spasms, improve range of motion by restoring the biomechanical function of the joints, increase muscle strength and correct postural alterations.
